So glad I got to visit with Gaywood last summer on a trip back to Pennsylvania. Happy memories of playing canasta and paper dolls.

Kay, Kenda, and Karla - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. While your mom may not be with you here on earth, she will be with you in your hearts forever. I saw your mom this past summer and had such a nice talk with her while she was out walking her precious dog. I was with my mom and we shared some wonderful stories of all of us growing up when we lived on Donation Road and Templeton Avenue. May you find comfort in your memories and the time your Mom had here on earth with her loving daughters! God Bless You.

I was so sorry to hear of (Aunt) Gaye's passing. I will always remember her as being so outgoing and bubbly; and welcoming me to the family with open arms. Sorry that I cannot attend the funeral, however too many previously scheduled things that I cannot get out of prevent the trip. Hopefully I can get together with Kenda and Karla in the near future since they are close to me here in North Carolina. Once again, please accept my condolences with the love in which they are sent.

To All of Gaywood's Family, I am sad to know of Gaywood's passing. As a classmate, I will always remember her warm personality and ready, friendly smile. She will be missed.

I have such wonderful memories of your mother. This past summer when I would walk my granddaughter she was always outside and we would talk about the growing up years and all of her family and where they were. She was always so kind and friendly. I will miss her smiles and seeing her as I walk past her house. But I always think of your family when I walk past your "family home" on Templeton Avenue. She loved her girls! Great memories!

Gaywood was a wonderful person, and one of my oldest friends from Greenville. It's hard to believe the time we worked together at Brown's Boot Shop almost 40 years ago. I have some wonderful memories of our antics together there. I was just heartbroken over her passing. But I know that now she is with Ken again, and beyond all pain and sadness. My deepest sympathies go to her family; especially Kenda, Kay and Karla, who I remember as wonderful people. Gay was very proud of her daughters and their children; that was about all she would talk about in our yearly birthday letters to each other. I will miss those and I will miss Gay. I loved her very, very much.
