I am a childhood friend of Bob Stuver, Jessie's son. During my life as a kid in Greenville, I remember Bob's mom as a gentle, caring person who didn't seem to mind that I hung out at their house a lot, often staying too long, but never being sent home. I always felt loved and happy in the Stuvers' home. My thoughts and love to the Stuver family.

A good friend and ardent community worker, she was a leader in the Hospital Auxiliary with my mother. Definitely a source of many of my Steel Car memories.

When I think of “Grandmother”, I think of “Unconditional Love”. No matter how much trouble you could find as a child, Grandma would always be there for you. I agree with my cousin, Jim, that fond memories are abundant. So I will simply say thanks, Grandma, for always being there for all of us with your never ending Love. Your grandson, Ron.

My most sincere condolences to the entire Stuver family. Jessie was such a sweet and kind lady, who will always be remembered by me. Her kindness to my family on several occasions showed her true and genuine selflessness. May God grant you all grace and comfort as you mourn the passing of Jessie L. Stuver. RIP Jessie..love, Debbie

Our love, prayers and sympathy go out to all Aunt Jessie's family at this time. I have so many great memories of the Stuver family Christmas get-togethers. She was always so pleasant, joyful and gracious. She will be remembered for her grand smiles and chuckles. I'm glad you all had so many years to share with her.

Grandma, I will never forget you or Grandpa. I have so many fond memories but I will pick just a few. I still remember the many nights we would camp out in the Patio of your Garage and we would stay up late watching the black and white TV. I loved sleeping on the cot you had available. Or the many times riding around the block on your three wheeled bike. Or the amazing food you would always seem to have cooking. Or playing all the fun games you always had or reading the gazillion comics you had stashed. Or our many fun visits to the "dentist". Not many kids can say that but they were always fun with you and we would usually stop for some food afterwords :) There is not many people like you or Grandpa and I will never forget you. I love you Grandma.....Jim
