Loutzenhiser-Jordan Online Guestbook for Joseph M. Wasko

We may live several hundred miles away but our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to all of Joe's family, friends and especially Tony. Just by his nature, Joe's love for all was second to none. Although gone from this earthly life,Joe's spirit now lives eternally with God in heaven, as well as, in each and everyone of us. May he rest in peace.

As a kid growing up, you never realize what some people mean to you until youre an adult looking back. I cant begin to tell you all the life lessons I learned from Joe just by being a pest as a kid visiting Jeromes Flowers daily while I delivered the local papers. Something as simple as caring for the doves that used to be in the front of the store to learning how to tie bows and arrange certain flowers and learning their names. Joe was a gem to have known and I will always remember him fondly. My sincerest sympathies to Tony, as he grieves the loss of such a wonderful life partner. My deepest condolences to Joes family and friends in this time of sorrow.

To the Wasko Family, Tony & Jerry - My Mom, Myrna Snyder Gessler, worked at Jerome's Flowers for many, many years. I grew up there. And there were the cottages at the Dam!!! Then Joe & Jerry did my wedding flowers---the Elks was transformed into the most beautiful place I'd ever seen. That was the size of Joe's heart..matched only by the size of his infectious smile. Joe will be missed and always remembered and loved!!! You re all in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences and hear go out to Joe' loved one including, most of to his companion. I have great memories of Joe when he was working with Jerry. They were so creative in all their work and had so much knowledge and talent Their talent was their art and the best definition of their art was to enhance life. I remember going with them to a party and seeing an original Rembrandt in a home over in the Eastwood Mall, Ohio area. It was the closest I ever got to anything of that value. Now, Joe, you will rest and see all your loved ones. Say hello to Stevie Zawistowski for me.

Heaven gained another angel but what a loss, what a void to those whose lives were touched by Uncle Joe. A great man who did so much for so many and who was truly the nucleus of the Wasko family. Memories of him shall never be forgotten. We love you Uncle Joe!

Tony; So sorry to hear about your lost ! Joe was always such a fun and wonderful host when we invaded your home from school. I will honor him by sitting back and remember the great times at your home on the lake. Especially on the boat at sunset with the full moon rising at the same time. How beautiful ! Jerry Free
