Loutzenhiser-Jordan Online Guestbook for H. Laverne Taylor
We were shocked and saddened to read of Laverne's death. What a loss for all of you. Wanted to attend viewing but didn't want to spread the flu bug we've had for several days. We found the video of your family a priceless treasure, especially the "Just Married" wheelbarrow ride. With love and our prayers, Chuck & Ruth Woods

I want to express my condolences for your loss..Although i haven't worked at Anderson's very long, i got to do several trips with Laverne..i also would seek his wisdom and vast knowledge, while planning a few of my trips...what i remember him most is , he was always a "gentleman", good conversationalist, had a sense of humor, and you could tell that he loved what he did...he always had my respect. He will be missed....i have a photo of him, which i showed him, from 1994, when he was one of the drivers who took my daughters class to Washington DC.... Again i am sorry for your loss...

Dear Howard, Kelsey, and Kendall,
Your dad, and Grandfather, has been a special treasure to all who have known him. He was always so thoughtful and respectful of me, and a true gentleman to all. I am thankful to have known him. I pray your grief will be lessened by the fact that he was a joy to so many people. Laverne is an iconic reminder of what it means to "follow your dream." I truly wish I could be there to show my respect for him. Please give Virginia a hug from me.

Laverne was one of the most professional and kind people I have ever met in the transportation industry. His dedication to the satisfaction of the traveler and his assistance and willingness to counsel younger operators helped to make Anderson the premier organization they are. Laverne certainly made my job as a dispatcher much easier to accomplish. My condelences to the family and to the extended Anderson family.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to your family on the passing of Laverne. He was like everyone's grandpa at "the garage".
I will be forever grateful to Laverne for the kind words he offered to me when my father past away last June. It was always a bonus when you discovered that Laverne was working a trip with you. He brought a spark to the trip, and you wanted to watch out for and take care of him when in reality, he was watching out for you.
May God rest his soul.
Sincerely,
Bill Stitt
