Loutzenhiser-Jordan Online Guestbook for Mary Elizabeth Bright
Mary was for many years a wonderful friend to my Mom, Beverly. For many years my Mom's friend has been one of my favorite souls on this earth. A visit with Mary and her boys was always eagerly looked forward to. Details fade with time - I remember playing Star Trek and dumptrucks - but what will always remain in my memory is Mary's presence. The Bright's were a wonderful family to be around. When Mom was still able to travel, we spent some time with Mary at her little Greenville house when we came north for services for family members who had passed away. A warmer, more inviting home I could not imagine. During one of these visits I found that Mary and I agreed - Lemieux was better than Gretzky. On such sad occasions, Mary's warmth and hospitality could not have been more deeply appreciated. In all the years since we were kids playing in the yard I have never and will never forget how blessed you were to have Mary as your Mother. You are in my prayers.

Hi everyone, I really enjoyed working with your mother at Meyersdale Hospital for the whole time she lived in Meyersdale. We went to the same church and just had such wonderful times together. We went on several trips and always had a good time. We enjoyed going out to eat and just driving around to see the beautiful countryside. I came to Greenville to visit her. I will miss her, but know I will see her again some day. My sincerest sympathy to all of you. Jane Brocht

I can remember in high school when the band played the national anthem, she would always sing out loud, and she always sang with such pride! She was such a nice, lovely woman, and always smiling. You have my deepest sympathy.

Dear children of Mary,
I met your mother over 35 years ago when I started working at St. Paul Homes. She was shining "Bright" then and after all that time I got reacquainted with her again through the church and as a "woodswalker" at Zawistowski's apartments. She was still shining bright for the Lord then! I will miss her, but definitely look forward to seeing her again in heaven.
Sister-in-Christ to your mother & fellow woodswalker... by the way the pictures of her in the woods were great! And so was the music...
