Dear Eileen & family, We was so saddened to hear the shocking new about Mike. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you Eileen and your family at this very sad time for all of you. Joe & I really thought allot of Mike. In fact, Joe was mentioning his name a couple of weeks ago and said that he was going to have to stop over to see him. Eileen we just moved back to the area when Joe retired. Eileen I am sure that Mike left you with very great memories that will always be engraved into your heart forever. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Rest in Peace, Mike. God Bless You and your family, Ann Marie & Joseph L. Fry Hadley, PA

It is still a shock to us that Mr. Maluk has passed away. You all know how much we love you and words cannot express how heavy our hearts are; how tragic this is. We are honored to have know him for many years and will always treasure all of the memorable times we have all had together. When he entered a room; there was no denying the overwhelming zest for life that he possessed; and there was never any moment nor doubt that his greatest love in his life was his family. Eileen & Mike (her hunk) were one the cutest couples I have ever known and their love is truly admirable. May all of you find peace as time prevails and may God bless you during your time of sorrow. You are always in our hearts and prayers. We Love you. xoxox

It was with the saddest of heart, that I heard from my friend Eric of the passing of my friend and fellow scouter Mike .I waited for a whole year to have our talks and to share our adventures. He was the only man who never had anything to say about my coffee, other than the fact it had to be ready when he got to the marquis in the morning. I will miss you Mike and my blessing to your family at this sad time. Your friend in scouting and life. Steve"fish" McCormick

Our family is neighbors with Luke and Zena and had the honor of knowing Mr Maluk for 7 years. In this time we shared memorable moments we will always remember him by. Holiday dinners, family birthdays and talking on the driveway about the Steelers when he was in town. These memories will always be with us to reflect on and make us smile when we do. Its with a heavy heart we say good bye to a man who was loved by all. We will Miss you. The Nabors family

I had the pleasure of knowing Mike through our Gilwell camps up in Acton, Ontario, Canada. He was one our our US Scouting brothers who came every year to spend the weekend with us. Gilwellians look forward to our camp every year to share stories, have some really good laughs, hear some great jokes and rekindle the Scouting fire in our hearts. Mike was always there to help out and participate in activities. He was a welcome sight to see when we arrived at Gilwell with "Hello Hugs" for everyone! Alas, another one of our Scouting family members have "Gone Home" too early. The Scouting family bond is a strong one and Mike will always be remembered at Gilwell. My condolences and prayers go out to Mike's family. May it give them comfort to know that Mike is in our hearts above the border as well.

Such a tragic loss and my heart goes out to Mike's family and loved ones. I have great memories of Mike at our annual Ontario Giwell Reunion (Scouts Canada) held here in Acton, Ontario, Canada that I will always cherish. I have some great pictures of his last visit with us that truely define his funnier side. He will always be remembered with a chuckle and a smile. God bless...until we meet again!

It's difficult to find the words to say to you, at such a time as this. Every year, we always hoped that Mike would come for the Gilwell Reunion. He was always willing to participate in any of the things we planned. I'm not sure if he was one of those people that believed in "What goes on at Gilwell, Stays at Gilwell", but we have pictures. I'm going to miss the daily e-mails, with the latest jokes. He will be missed. So I hope in some small way it helps to know that we think of him fondly.

Words can not describe how saddened we are. Mike will always be remembered and cherished in our hearts. We love you all and hope your happy memories of him will help you through this time of grief. His smile is engraved in my memory and when I think of him now, I picture him having long conversations in heaven with my father. God bless you all. Natasha
