Loutzenhiser-Jordan Online Guestbook for Ronald H. “Bo” Artman
To Cherri and family, I really didn't know Art but I see by this wonderful memorial he was a true Greenville man. I don't think they make them any better anywhere ! And I will look forward to meeting him in our heavenly hometown someday.

As a kid growing up in Greenville in the '50s and early '60s I would see Bo around town and cheered his talents in football and basketball at GHS. He umpired Babe Ruth games I played in and even though he know many of the players he was always fair and impartial to both teams. In 1968 while playing football for Thiel I separated my shoulder. When I got to the emergency room and was send into X-ray it was BO who was the tech on duty. He remembered me and we traded stories while he put me at ease and did his thing. From his video tribute it looks like he lead a full life. RIP Bo...you will be missed but memories never die!

I was so sorry to learn of Bo's passing. As a kid growing up in Greenville in the '50s and 60s, I saw a lot of him around town. I also admired his skills in basketball and football for GHS. He umpired several Babe Ruth games I played in and was always impartial to both teams. In 1968 while playing football for Thiel I separated my shoulder. Coach Mel Berry loaded me into his car and took me to the hospital. Bo happened to be the X-ray Tech on duty and he remembered me. We shared stories about Greenville while he did his thing. From his video tribute it looks like he lived a full and fun life. RIP Ron...you will be missed.

I was so sorry to learn of Bo's passing. As a kid growing up in Greenville in the '50s and early '60s, I always loved watching him play football and basketball for GHS. He also umpired a number of Babe Ruth baseball games I played in. In 1968 while playing football for Thiel I separated my shoulder and Coach Mel Berry took me to the hospital. Bo happened to be the X-ray tech on duty that day. He remembered me and we shared stories while he did his thing. Looks like he had a good live from his tribute video. RIP Ron.

I worked for Ron back in the 70s and 80s at both Greenville Hospital and Greenville Orthopedics. I couldn't have asked for a better boss. The world has lost a special person who touched so many lives in wonderful ways. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family.
