I will always remember how, when I was a child, Uncle Bob would fix my record player every time it broke, which was often. He taught me to appreciate music and family, showed me his old music store, and taught me to play the piano. He was a constant, wonderful presence in my life. A family reunion was never quite complete without Uncle Bob playing the piano for us all. Thinking of you all now, and sending our love.

John - Sounds like your father enjoyed an adventurous life and was quite the energetic entrepreneur. Many thanks for his (and your) valuable military service. Take care and we'll see you soon.

May our thoughts and prayers and memories of the joy Uncle Bob gave us, be with each family member from his beloved wife Mary, to his children, grand-children, nieces, nephews and "greats." I can still see his smile and sparkling eyes and how he enjoyed music, Veteran's events, football, travel (he did like to head back to the "barn"), his family and life. And how he made me, his niece, feel so special.

We're honoring you for your service to the country, and I'm personally graceful and thankful being part of your family to share joys and happiness. Now you'll be missed but not forgotten in thoughts and prayers. Rest peacefully.

I have some very fond memories of living in Greenville before we moved to Massachusetts when I was 14. One was of pocketing my lunch money each week while at Penn Jr. High and then walking down to Hamilton's music store each Friday to buy a 45 rpm. Still don't know where my mom thought those records were coming from! My condolences to the family, especially John with whom I played as a child.

We are so sorry for your loss. I have very distinct, fond memories of Bob, his kindness, gentle spirit, and his being a constant in my growing up years at 1st Pres. We share in your loss, but rejoice in Bob's homecoming. May the Lord keep you in his mercy.

One of my favorite memories of growing up in Greenville was visiting Hamilton Music to buy sheet music. I loved talking to Mr. Hamilton. Please accept my sympathies.
